Our standards

More than skilled procedures.

Good dentistry is the start. Here is what else we hold ourselves to at every appointment.

A toothbrush and dental floss laid out on pale linen.
01

Dental health care, not disease care

The problem: a tooth that only gets attention once it hurts.

We believe prevention and education are the keys to dental health. Thorough exams check your teeth and gums, include an oral cancer exam, and take x-rays when necessary. Cleanings, sealants and fluoride help prevent disease, and a review of your medical history keeps us aware of anything that affects your mouth.

Sealed sterilisation pouches holding stainless steel dental instruments.
02

Uncompromising safety

The problem: the part of a dental visit nobody shows you.

To protect our patients and ourselves, we strictly maintain sterilisation and cross-contamination processes to the standards recommended by the American Dental Association, OSHA and the Centers for Disease Control.

A comfortable armchair and a soft throw in a quiet, sunlit waiting area.
03

A positive experience

The problem: feeling uneasy before you even sit down.

We understand how uneasy some patients feel about dental visits. Our whole team takes the time to listen and answer your questions, so each visit is as comfortable and pleasant as we can make it.

What people ask about most.

Zoom!® Whitening

Professional-strength Philips Zoom whitening. For many patients a single hour-long visit brightens teeth several shades, and take-home Zoom kits are available too.

Root Canal Therapy

Treats an infected inner tooth so it can be kept rather than extracted. A local anesthetic keeps you comfortable, and the tooth is then filled and capped with a crown.

Invisalign®

Custom clear aligners for mild to moderate crowding, gaps and crooked teeth, without the time commitment of traditional braces.

Children’s Dentistry

Baby teeth are temporary but they matter. We see children of all ages, from the first visit to mouth guards for sport.

Technology

More accurate, and more comfortable.

Our commitment to care includes finding the right tools. Advanced dental technology makes your treatment more accurate and your visit more comfortable.

  • Digital impressionsA digital scan of your teeth in place of a tray of impression material.
  • Guided implant surgeryImplant placement planned in advance, for a more accurate result.
  • Digital & panoramic x-raysTaken when they are needed, as part of a thorough examination.
  • Nitrous oxideOffered at our Smithfield office to ease dental anxiety.
